How do I RSVP? Please submit your RSVP on our wedding website. You can find the RSVP form here.
What date should I RSVP by? Kindly RSVP by Monday, June 24th.
Travel, Lodging, and Points of Interest
How far is the Pittsburgh airport from downtown? It’s approximately 19 miles from Pittsburgh International Airport (PIT) to downtown Pittsburgh. It takes anywhere between 20 and 40 minutes depending on traffic.
Where should I stay? We have reserved room blocks at three hotels within a 2 minute walk of the wedding venue. You can also find several Airbnbs and hotels in the surrounding neighborhoods of downtown, Lawerenceville, Bloomfield, and North Shore.
Do you have room blocks at one or more hotels near the venue? Yes! We have room blocks at the following hotels:
AC Hotel by Marriott Pittsburgh Downtown (Book by June 18th)
Hampton Inn & Suites Pittsburgh Downtown (Book by June 18th)
Homewood Suites by Hilton Pittsburgh Marriott (Block Closed)
Do the hotels have parking? Parking varies based on the hotel. Please find more information below.
AC Hotel by Marriott Pittsburgh Downtown - Guests are encouraged to use the public parking lot at 11th and Smallman Street directly across from the hotel or metered spots. Price varies.
Hampton Inn & Suites Pittsburgh Downtown - Guests can self-park for free. Valet is not available, but EV charging is available on site.
Homewood Suites by Hilton Pittsburgh Marriott - Guests can self-park for $19/day.Valet and EV charging are not available.

The Heinz History Center seems really cool! Am I able to visit it during the wedding weekend? Yes! Please do. The Heinz History Center is an incredible museum with fantastic exhibits. Guests have free access to the museum all wedding weekend; just let the security desk know that you’re in town for the Shuback/Crowder wedding.
Wedding Dress Code
What’s the dress code for the wedding? We ask guests to wear cocktail attire.
What does cocktail attire mean? Dress codes can be confusing! For examples of cocktail attire click here.
Wedding Day
What’s the name and address of the wedding venue? Senator John Heinz History Center, 1212 Smallman St, Pittsburgh, PA 15222
What’s the easiest way to get to/from the wedding venue? If you’re staying in one of the hotel blocks, walking is the easiest way to get to the venue. If you’ll be staying somewhere else in Pittsburgh, parking will be available nearby. Uber and Lyft are always an option as well.
Will there be a shuttle to/from the hotels? For our guests’ convenience, the room blocks are in hotels that are within 2 blocks of the wedding venue, so there’s no need for a shuttle!
Does the venue have parking? There are several public parking lots surrounding the Heinz History Center, as well as limited on-street parking. More parking information can be found here. Please keep in mind that several events are being held in Pittsburgh during the wedding weekend, so be sure to leave enough time to find parking and walk to the venue.
What is the wedding day itinerary? You can find the full wedding day itinerary here.
When does the ceremony actually start? The ceremony will start promptly at 5:30pm. Guests may enter the museum as early as 5:00pm to explore prior to the ceremony.
What time will your wedding reception end? The reception will end at 11:00pm, with the bar closing at 10:30pm. The venue is located near many Strip District bars if guests want to keep the party going afterwards.
Will there be a time gap between your wedding ceremony and reception?No. Immediately following the ceremony, guests will be ushered downstairs to cocktail hour.
Are the wedding ceremony and reception in the same place? Yes! The ceremony will take place in the Library and the cocktail hour/reception will take place in the Great Hall, both within the Heinz History Center building.
Can I bring a plus one? Plus ones are by invitation only and we ask other guests to please not bring a plus one. Thank you so much for understanding!
Can we bring our children? Enjoy a night out on us! We ask that guests not bring their children. Only the couple’s niece and nephews will be in attendance.
What type of food will be served at the wedding reception? You can find the menu selections here.
Will there be meal options for guests with dietary considerations or allergies? Absolutely! When completing your RSVP, please indicate that you have dietary considerations and/or allergies that our caterer should be aware of. They’ll ensure that everyone has a delicious meal that meets their needs!
Will there be an open bar? Yes! You can enjoy alcoholic and nonalcoholic drinks throughout the night.
What if I need accommodations for a disability or impairment? If you require any accommodations, please indicate it in your RSVP and let Angela or Jackson know at shubackcrowderwedding@gmail.com.
Am I allowed to take photos at your wedding? We kindly ask that guests refrain from taking photos during the ceremony out of respect for our professional photographer. However, we welcome photos at the reception!

Where should we bring/send our wedding gift? We’re so thankful for any gifts guests want to give. If guests are purchasing physical items, we ask that they’re sent to our address provided on the registries. There will be a card box on the welcome table when guests enter the reception
